What is Nourish The Future?
For conscious moms, Nourish The Future empowers a commitment to
healthy pregnancy. Healthful Living's nutrition courses, cooking
classes, holistic workshops, and other events for moms, future moms,
children and families expand your choice to intentionally invest
in your health, and the health of the next generation.
Julie Matthews, Certified Nutrition
Consultant leads classes for women at all stages of pregnancy. She
teaches healthy nutrition for babies and children, recovering moms,
growing families, and will soon add a new class on nutrition for future
(and new!) dads.

for pregnancy and infants, and insights on nursing and nutrition for
breastfeeding. |
Women focusing on fertility and pregnancy planning learn to nourish
their bodies beforehand and discover high nutrient food options to
boost up nutrient reserves before they conceive. Depending on timing,
preconception women can detoxify in advance. |

Pregnancy, childbirth,
and nursing take a lot of nutrients from the mother, through the
food she eats and her own stored nutrients. After the birth
of a child, boosting nutrient reserves can help replenish a mother's
vitality and prepare her for future pregnancies.

Foundations of Traditional Foods: Recipe for a Healthy
Family
Nutrition and cooking class teaches you to prepare
healthy food for the whole family. The class includes information for women
that are pregnant or planning for pregnancy. We'll cover nutrients essential
for baby's development, tips for children that are picky eaters, and ideas
for parents on the go. This class includes nutrition education on the health
benefits of these delicious foods, as well as hands-on experience preparing
them.

Cooking for Baby
Nutrition and cooking class for babies and toddlers will cover topics including
homemade formula recipes, hands on demonstration of how to make baby food,
what to feed and not feed your baby, tips and tricks for picky eaters, and

Cooking To Heal
For those following special diets, or if food allergies and intolerances are a concern, learning to prepare safe and healthy foods is essential. Cooking to Heal provides recipes and instruction to help you plan and create healing meals for yourself and family.
This class incorporates elements of many effective diets commonly used
for Autistic Spectrum Disorders including gluten and casein-free, diets for
yeast overgrowth, and food sensitivities. We will discuss how to adapt food
choices to fit within the necessary dietary requirements. NEXT
